The internet is flooded with Making money online blogs and websites. Most of these articles are about which advertising program or affiliate program to use on your blog and how to use those advertising programs. But these articles are missing one very important point. And the point is
YOU NEED TO HAVE GOOD TRAFFIC ON YOUR BLOG/ WEBSITE FOR ANY ADVERTISING OR AFFILIATE PROGRAM TO GENERATE REVENUE FOR YOU or TO MAKE MONEY ONLINE.
So even though this blog is not having any post directly on making money online , it is a blog on Making money online. Using tips mentioned in my earlier posts you can have good traffic on your blog within 3 to 5 months coming form various sources like search engine, blog directories, socializing sites, discussion, forums etc. Once you have traffic of say 500 to 1000 visits per day (not visitors) , even if you use advertising program like google adsense , which is readily available for blogspot users in their 'Add page elements' option, you can start making $1 or $2 per day (or even more :)). The difference between foreground text color and background should be more to increase clarity/ visibility.
You need recent posts widget on upper right hand corner in right sidebar.
Too many things at bottom of page.You can manage ad and page elements better with 3-column templates.

I came across your Blog and its really helpful. I have been amazed at what I have accomplished since I started my blog in September. Its still baby steps but I am always increasing my google rankings and I get a little more views every month. No where near 1000 but again baby steps !!! lol.

You are quite right in saying traffic
is one of the biggest ingredients needed. As is quality backlinks to bring that traffic. But not just any traffic. You need "quality traffic", and Ive found the best traffic tends to be straight from search engines for monetization. Forums as well.

i have been blogging for about 6 weeks. but i don't think anyone clicked my adsense. have 397 visitor only until now. too low. but do you click on ppl's adsense when you visit their blog?
